Valley Industry and Commerce Association Exhibiting at L.A.’s Largest Mixer® XIV

Originally called the Industrial Association of the San Fernando Valley, VICA was founded in 1949 by a group of business leaders with the goal of creating a healthy business climate in the region. It was not until 1981 that this organization became known by its current name—VICA, the Valley Industry and Commerce Association.

Today, VICA is widely considered one of the most influential business advocacy organizations in Southern California. With its knowledge of the legislative process and economic issues, VICA’s access to public officials ensures that the San Fernando Valley’s business perspective will be heard in the interest of improving it’s business climate and quality of life. VICA’s membership is diverse, ranging from some of the largest Valley employers (Disney, Wells Fargo and Kaiser Permanente) to small consulting, accounting and law firms. Industries represented by VICA include manufacturing, entertainment, finance, retail and everything in between.
